    Forgot to mention...Stale coffee grounds and tobacco juice work great to keep the snails and slugs at bay. Sprinkle the grounds around the plants; soak tobacco in water filled spray bottle and spray the pests as needed.You could just chew the tobacco and spit on them...Ha!
